KRISTINA SOMOLYER

 

1980, he joined the Kenyan government as a civil servant and worked for the National Examination Council from 1981 to 1985. He served as a tutor under Kenya Teacher’s Service Commission.

In 1986, he joined the government of Uganda and worked in the President’s Office as a pioneering
Research Analyst Officer on Economic Affairs.

From 1989 to 1995, he joined the Ministry of Finance under The Directorate of Central Purchasing as the Director of Procurement 

He worked as the National Project Coordinator for UN, UGA/60/59 under ITC/UNCTAD/World Trade Organization from 1996 to 2001.

Turning his efforts to active consultancy, he formed the Strategic Plan for the establishment of
Public Procurement and Disposal Reform Strategy in 2001

Before setting up the International Financial Empowerment Consultants in 2002, a leadership, strategy, and governance company, regionally based in capital cities of East African countries (Kampala, Nairobi, Kigali, and Dar ES Salam) – a company which was awarded The International Arch Diocese of Europe for Quality and Excellence Gold category in Paris, 2009. In 2008, he founded the CEO Summit Uganda – a Public Private Partnership whose mission is a common platform for debate and discussion of economic policy formulation implementation and enforcement to support Uganda’s multiple Recovery Initiatives.
